"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022. After extensive research, we booked our balloon ride through Austin Aeronauts - a very professional and well-reviewed company. Our pilot was a very experienced Josh Sneed, who expertly piloted the balloon according to the varying winds at the different altitudes. David Smuck, another very knowledgeable pilot served as our ground crew and contributed to our amazing morning! I had numerous questions, which Josh and David helpfully answered. My brother-in-law joined us as we enjoyed the breath-taking views from the brightly colored balloon. We soared over Hutto, TX (near Round Rock) and delighted in spotting a herd of deer crossing a field. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and the skies were a brilliant blue after a glorious sunrise. Floating in the air was an incredible sensation and was a true adventure! Josh was very safety-conscious and made sure that all of us were comfortable as we took off. Josh also ensured that we knew exactly what to do and expect, when he landed the balloon. The fun did not stop after a smooth landing! Josh had thoughtfully packed a picnic basket with croissants, non-alcoholic champagne, and champagne glasses to toast our successful balloon ride, and he shared a story of the origins of the hot air balloon ride. David contributed to the ceremony with his own experiences of balloon rides. We highly recommend Austin Aeronauts as the premiere choice for Hot Air Balloon Rides! Many thanks to Josh and David for a wonderful flight, and for ensuring our flight and landing was safe. I will be sure to let all my family and friends know about this magical experience! I should add that upon scheduling your own flight, be prepared to re-scheduling if needed, as weather conditions must be right for a safe ride. I recommend that you be flexible & patient if your flight gets rescheduled, as ours did. But it was so worth the re-scheduling. We all thoroughly enjoyed this unforgettable experience!"

"I had a wonderful time and worth crossing off your bucket list. Things to be prepared for is that Austin's weather is not predictable and you may have reschedules. However, Sandy, is incredible to work with and makes it easy. Lastly, I did not know that there are not designated landing spots, therefore you land where you can and then get shuttled back to the parking area. I would defiantly do it again and the views are beautiful."

"What an experience! First time in a hot air balloon. I knew going into it that there was a chance that weather could cause the flight to be canceled. This made total sense because on the original day that I was supposed to take off, there was lightening all around! They canceled obviously, but I was patient and so glad I was! Third time was the charm and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! Me and my daughter had so much fun! I had so much fun I'm likely to do this again in the future. Just be patient if you decide to book a flight and be prepared for a cancelation. Trust the pilots! They are very experienced and if they cancel, it's for good reason. They want you to have a good time and if you're patient and wait for that day they say it's a go, you're going to have a great experience! Thanks Austin Aeronauts!
